The film revolves around a french tutor and a single parent, Neena, who lives with her daughter Nikitha. The Malayalam version of the film, titled Varane Avashyamund, was a blockbuster upon its theatrical release and received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Starring Dulquer Salmaan, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Suresh Gopi and Shobana in key roles, the film is directed by Anoop Sathyan, son of the popular filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad.
